Our office hours vary as our therapists create their own schedules. Some of our therapists offer early morning, after school, or evening appointments to accommodate different schedules. Because of these high demand times, however, wait times are longer.

Yes, we offer virtual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing for clients who prefer or require remote access to therapy. You can access our telehealth platform from any computer, tablet, or smart phone.

Our fees vary depending on the type and length of the session, as well as if you are using insurance coverage. The private pay fees start at $150 for individual sessions and $185 for couples counseling sessions. Private pay fees for our intern therapists start at $60 for individual sessions and $100 for couples counseling sessions. We do have sliding scale spots available, which will require the completion of our sliding scale application. Please contact our office for specific pricing information.

Presently, we have providers that accept various plans including BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Healthlink, Illinois Medicaid, BCBS Community, YouthCare, and Molina. This may vary by provider so please review the “Meet out Therapists” page or contact our office to verify insurance information.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and certain health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible spending accounts (FSAs). Payment is due at the time of service.

During your first session, your therapist will conduct an initial assessment to understand your concerns and goals. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine if the therapist is a good fit for you.

Private pay individual or couples counseling sessions typically last 50 or 90 minutes. Sessions covered by insurance typically last 54 minutes in length.

The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients see significant progress in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy.

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. All information shared in therapy sessions is kept private and confidential, with certain exceptions as required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others).

Absolutely! Finding the right therapist is crucial for effective therapy. If you feel that your current therapist isn’t the right fit, we encourage you to discuss this with us so we can match you with another therapist who better suits your needs.
